We’re trying to get Jerry Lewis to do a telethon for us to raise some funds. Why you ask? Well, because .org domains are probably going to cost 10% more this fall, and well, to use a French saying, we’re broke as shit.
If we can’t come up with the $9.99 we may have to sell the logo. Er. Damn.

We are starting to get comment spam. I mean more than the normal garbage our users post.
I’m not sure if this is bad (spam is bad) or good (we may actually be linked to from other sites) but it is happening.
Remember, each time you spam a blog a baby polar bear dies.
As you may have noticed you can now have avatars on your posts. This system is not very polished yet but it serves. If you would like an avatar, make a new post and go to the upload section of the post and upload the picture you would like avatar-ized. Avatars should be 50×50 AIM buddy icon sized images. Once you upload it I will move it to the appropriate spot.
Eventually this will be tied into your profile or something. Maybe.
We lost power at 3:09:01PM and when the power came back up a network device didn’t reset properly *AND* the POS that I call a server decided to switch which ethernet interface it saw as eth0. Maybe I should plug a cable into both interfaces since the secondary doesn’t start anyway. We have a new IP now but if you are reading this you (or your computer) already knows this.

We made a few changes to the menu bar layout. There are still too much clutter but it will serve for now. The Amazon ad is also gone. Their service that automatically tailors their ads to your site really sucks.
