Battletoads – The Movie
So there’s some rumors out there about maybe a Battletoads movie. There’s even a trailer.
Let’s talk about some of these things.
- Clips used in the trailer are from other trailer (TMNT , Watchmen, maybe others).
- The voice over in the trailer doesn’t sound like it’s from a good studio. Maybe someone’s basement?
- The domain name is registered by Domains By Proxy, Universal doesn’t do that.
- The movie is supposed to come out in one (1) month and we haven’t heard anything about it.
- IMDB is unaware of the existence of any Battletoads movie, and IMDB is god.
- How the hell is L. Ron Hubbard supposed to produce this movie?
- Will Smith and Sammy L. J. I get, where did Eddie Murphy come from?
- Longcat Pictures and Wirah Productions don’t even exist. I bet Wirah is the handle of whoever made this.
However, it has one redeeming factor. It’s on the intertubes, thus it has to be true. I’m pumped.

Did you see the pair of executive producers?
Tom Green- Douchebag Extraordinaire (seriously, WTF did Drew Barrymore see in him?)
Chris Benoit- R.I.P Died June ‘07 in an apparent murder-suicide thingy with his family. Former WWE wrestler. Maybe he’ll get some post-mortem Oscar buzz as well.
What about the screenplay writer?
Rick Astley- RickRoll Anyone?
Notice the release date, 9-11.
