Etch this sketch b*tch
A few years ago one of the Abodesians (or former Abodesians at least, dunno if he still reads) Drako and another friend built an automatic etch-a-sketch that took scanned images and drew them pretty well in gray scale. I have no images to prove this but I remember it being true.
Now somebody has built an etch-a-sketch clock. It clears itself and draws the time.
Now, I’d imagine you could do a really crude form of flip book style video using this technique. Like .01 fps video

I remember Drako’s etch-a-sketch picture thingy. I can confirm it existed.
I wonder why in college we created all of these useless toys… I have yet to have a need to automate an etch-a-sketch in my work and I do a lot of software stuff.
