Research Finds Out Stuff We Already Knew

If there were no studies, how would we ever know anything about human health & behavior? Click the link for common sense shocking new scientific findings.

  • After decades of studying alcohol, scientists have concluded that its health effects depend on how much you drink. Yep. That’s right. If you drink a case of beer every day, it can make you sick. But booze in moderation is healthy. I personally think this guy has it right:

“For my physical health, I think it’s great in moderation. And you need it for your mental health every now and then,” said Lawrence Graeber, 61, of Alameda. “After you have two or three beers, you start to feel relaxed. Sometimes when you look at the world and everything going on around us, if you can get a little buzz on, it doesn’t look too bad.”

  • Another shocking study recently found that, men & women approach shopping differently. Basically, men think shopping is a chore, only do it when they need something specific, and like to get it over with quickly. On the other hand, women enjoy shopping for the sake of shopping and spend a lot of time browsing, even if they don’t buy anything.
  • These astonishing discoveries were brought to you by universities, hospitals, and insurance companies; and probably financed by those fruitcakes we call the government.
